CERT Classes

Community Emergency Response Team Classes

Our Fire District offers classes called CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) to regular citizens who are interested in learning how they can help their community during a major disaster such as an earthquake. Three Windandtide residents have attended the class and strongly recommend that others in the community sign up for the excellent instruction.

ICE (In Case of Emergency)

Important Tip: ICE for your Cell Phone

There is a good chance Paramedics and other Emergency Responders may look for emergency contact information in your cell phone.  Store the word ICE (In Case of Emergency) in your address book, along with the name and number of the person you'd like emergency personnel to call on your behalf. Tell your friends and family members that you've chosen them as your contact and make sure they're aware of any medical conditions or allergies that could effect your treatment.
